At Decor Hardware and Paints LLC, we strive to ensure customer satisfaction with every purchase. Our Return Goods Policy complies with applicable U.A.E. Consumer Protection Laws and outlines the conditions under which products may be returned, exchanged, or refunded.
1. Eligibility for Return
Products may be eligible for return under the following conditions:
• The item is defective, damaged, or not as described at the time of delivery.
• The product is unused, in original packaging, and in a resalable condition.
• The request for return is initiated within the time frame allowed under this policy.
Please note: Products that have been installed, used, or damaged due to misuse are not eligible for return unless proven defective by manufacturer standards.
2. Return Time Frame
• You must initiate a return request within 7 calendar days of receiving the product.
• For bulk orders or special procurements, separate return terms may apply and will be communicated during the quotation or order confirmation process.
3. Return Process
To initiate a return:
1. Email us at online@aldecor.org with:
o Your order number
o Product name and quantity
o Reason for return
o Photos or videos (if applicable)
2. Our team will review your request within 1-2 business days and provide return instructions or arrange for product pickup (if applicable).
3. Upon approval, the product must be returned using the method advised by our support team.
4. Inspection & Approval All returned items will undergo quality inspection. If the item is found to be:
• Defective or incorrect: A full refund or exchange will be processed.
• Not meeting return conditions: The item may be sent back to the customer at their expense.
5. Refunds
• Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 7–14 business days of item approval.
• Delivery fees (if any) are non-refundable, except in cases of incorrect or defective delivery.
• Refunds for cash on delivery purchases may be issued via bank transfer or store credit, as agreed with the customer.
6. Non-Returnable Items
Certain items are non-returnable, including but not limited to:
• Custom-cut materials or products made to order
• Opened consumables such as paints, adhesives, or sealants
• Items explicitly marked as "Final Sale" or "Non-Returnable" at the time of purchase
7. Exchange Policy
Eligible products may be exchanged for another item of equal or higher value (price difference applicable), subject to stock availability and approval.
8. Manufacturer Warranty
Some products may come with a manufacturer’s warranty. Warranty terms vary by product and brand. For such cases, customers may be directed to the manufacturer’s service center.
9. Legal Compliance
This policy is governed by and interpreted in accordance with the Federal Law No. 15 of 2020 on Consumer Protection in the United Arab Emirates. We reserve the right to modify or update this policy as required by law or operational needs.
